I visited The Delano in South Beach, Miami last year during my stay at another boutique hotel. I was on a trip with family celebrating my niece’s birthday and The Delano didn’t have a suite that could accommodate us (we were a party of 8 and didn’t want to be separated) so I decided to just take a property tour.
The style has not changed since it opened. Pure white walls, bedding, and furnishings make this luxury boutique ocean front hotel one of a kind. It’s an icon of Miami, Florida for sure.
I am a HUGE fan of Salvador Dali and have only seen his framed art. I was so excited to be able to touch something he actually had his hands on. This chair had to have been made for The Delano.
Presenting…Lenny Kravitz’s piano!!
So many chic nooks to hang out and take in the South Beach vibe.
There were people in the pool so I didn’t get any photos of that, which is beautiful and you can view it on The Delano’s website. Talk about upscale South Beach chic though! The pool cabanas are really where you go to see and be seen.
The spa is located on the top floor of the building with a spacious, peaceful rooftop that you can lounge on. The view is amazing!
Marble tubs are pure romance for any couple and perfect for after your spa visit.
I didn’t see any signs that said red wine was prohibited but be careful if making a toast and clink your glasses gently.
The only pop of color you’ll see in the rooms at The Delano is a fresh green apple, perfectly perched on it’s own wall mounted pedestal. I’m not sure of it’s real purpose and my sales rep wasn’t aware of it either but let’s go with that the apple and room have in common that they are both crisp and refreshing.
